The semiconductor and medical biosafety health industries have achieved rapid growth in China in recent years, which has promoted the rapid development of the air purification market. MayAir, as a local brand in China, has risen rapidly and has grown into a leading brand in China's air purification industry, and its development has attracted the attention of industry experts. On the afternoon of March 13, 2021, Li Xiaohu, Secretary General of Chinese Association of Refrigeration (CAR), and Huang Haoliang, Secretary General of Jiangsu Association of Refrigeration, came to MayAir Technology (China) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as MayAir) for visiting. Ye Weiqiang, General Manager of MayAir, interviewed them and briefed them on the situation.
Secretary-General Li and Secretary-General Huang visited the product exhibition hall, R&D laboratory and production workshop of the company successively. Mr. Ye Weiqiang introduced the development history, core technologies and application industries of the company to experts. MayAir was founded in 2001 with a 40,000-square-meter R&D and manufacturing center in Nanjing and more than 100 R&D personnel.Nowaday the company has many core technologies, such as FFU (FAN FILTER UNIT) energy saving, noise reduction and system integration, ultra-efficient filtration activated carbon adsorption based on physical/chemical adsorption, the technology of catalytic oxidation to remove VOCs, ion exchange adsorption , oil mist centrifugal separation, CFD simulation and so on. The company has six production bases in China and Malaysia. The main business covers semiconductor clean room purification, medical health, indoor air quality optimization and environmental emission control. Experts highly recognized the achievements made by MayAir in semiconductor clean rooms, medical and health care, commercial and civilian places, emissions and other application fields.
Experts from the Associations focused on the R&D laboratory. Mr. Ye Weiqiang introduced that MayAir has been investing heavily in the construction of R&D laboratories, and the laboratories have obtained CNAS (China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment) certification at present. Secretary-General Li highly praised the measures taken by the MayAir to adhere to the technology-led, market-oriented, and focus on R&D investment. Experts made field visits to materials/parts laboratories, chemical analysis laboratories, ultra-clean semiconductor microenvironment laboratories, product function laboratories, environmental laboratories, reliability laboratories and CFD simulation laboratories one by one.
After the visit, the experts also had a discussion and exchange with MayAir management team. Li Xiaohu and Huang Haoliang expressed their approval of scientific research and innovation of MayAir, recognized the strategic direction of giving priority to technology and paying equal attention to quality, and expressed appreciation for the company's leading role in the industry and its social responsibility. Secretary-General Li Xiaohu said, “R&D leads, innovation drives, social resources are reasonably applied to their own products, with resources integrated. MayAir has done a very good job in all aspects of the process from R&D investment to manufacturing, and we hope to cooperate with MayAir in various aspects in the future to jointly explore more application needs and solve more industry problems.”
