In the new energy industry during the process of producing cathode materials for lithium batteries, a large amount of dust will fall on the equipment, walls, or ground, which will endanger workers' health. At the same time, due to the large area of dust, it is hard to be cleaned completely when cleaning and will result in secondary dust issues.
MayAir high vacuum dust removal system can solve this issue
The dust removal vacuum system uses negative pressure generated by the high negative pressure unit to draw dust-laden air at the terminal. Its unique dust collection accessories suck the dust and then discharge it into the system after filtering it with a special-dust removal cartridge and a high-efficiency filter.
When the system works intermittently, the flow rate of the main pipeline decreases because of the accumulated dust. A pipe cleaning valve located at the end of the horizontal main pipe is equipped to clean up the dust in the main pipeline.
Stainless steel clamps connect the pipes, and the branch pipes are connected by a prefabricated 45° inclined tee connected to the valve through a hose, which is convenient for disassembly.
According to the technical requirements, all parts in contact with the material must not contain substances such as copper and zinc. As such, the inside of the dust collector is treated with a PTFE coating, whilst the airflow contact parts of the fan are coated or made of stainless steel.
The system has a stable filtration effect and long service life. It is equipped with high-efficiency filtration at the terminal, and the filtered air can be directly sent back to the workspace. It has prominent characteristics such as many service points, convenient operation, occupied little space and easy maintenance.
